Natural Resource students at Franklin High School will help livestake a newly restored section of Crawford Branch at Memorial Park. This much needed restoration is a joint partnership with the LTLT, Town of Franklin, US Fish& Wildlife Service, Macon County, Duke Energy, and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Students will see a newly reconstructed streambank and learn about the importance or sediment and erosion control measures, while planting the very trees that will protect the streambank for years to come.
